      • Ainé Debut Album

It’s All About Me! is Áine’s debut album for solo harp — a gentle and uplifting blend of traditional and contemporary melodies inspired by the people and coastline of Tramore. The music explores themes of resilience, joy and belonging, offering a reflective soundtrack for quiet moments, relaxation, or a cup of tea.

      • About The Album

It’s All About Me! is deeply rooted in place and story. The album draws inspiration from Áine’s hometown of Tramore — from the beach to the Doneraile Walk, the tennis courts, and the Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens — as well as the family, friends, and teachers who shaped her musical journey.

The music blends traditional Irish airs, contemporary compositions, cinematic themes, and lullabies with Áine’s distinctive musical interpretation. Listeners will find warmth, calm, nostalgia, and quiet strength throughout the collection. The album is dedicated to Áine’s late parents, Olive and Bernard McCarthy, and reflects a period of recovery, resilience, and renewed appreciation for life.

Whether you’re discovering harp music for the first time or returning to it with familiarity, the album provides a soothing and accessible entry point into Áine’s musical world.

        Tracklist

Jane’s Air — a Scottish harp tune composed for a wedding, and Áine’s husband’s favourite.

Eleanor Plunket - a beloved O’Carolan air with rich harmonies.

May It Be - Enya’s cinematic theme from The Lord of the Rings

Captain O Kane - a spirited O’Carolan piece and session favourite.

Ar Éireann Ní Neosfainn Cé Hí — a staple of traditional Irish music.

The Pearl — a delicate Scottish composition that inspired Áine’s journey with Ailie Robertson.

Takeda no Komoriuta — a Japanese lullaby honouring Tramore’s Japanese Gardens.

West Waltz — learned in Germany at the Irish Music Summer School.

Theme from Braveheart — a cinematic favourite arranged for harp and voice.

Red Cuilin — a peaceful and loving modern composition.

Elly Gheal — a beautiful traditional air with lyrical bass harmonies.

The Prayer — a tribute to a beloved friend and teacher.

Slán Le Máigh — dedicated to box player Peter Kelly, who encouraged Áine to make this album.

Sands of Hosta — a piece learned during cancer recovery and performed on stage with family.

Lios na Banríona — a joyful modern composition to close the collection.
